In 1993, our founders Ken Hamilton and Jim Newman established the industry-leading manufacturing company Priority Wire & Cable. Today, the company has grown to encompass 16 distribution centers and 2.4 million feet of warehouse space across North America.
1995 - Priority1 Founded
Leveraging the resources of our asset-based parent company, Priority Wire & Cable, Priority1 opened its doors in 1995 as a full-service logistics company. We use our group purchasing power and industry-leading TMS to provide our customers with the necessary tools to control their freight and transportation costs every step of the way.
2008 - Launch of our Agent Network
In 2008, Priority1 went to market with an Independent Agent model, offering its Agents competitive rates, back-office support, and industry-leading technology. We have successfully grown hundreds of businesses through this model, enabling these owners to fulfill the American Dream of becoming successful entrepreneurs.
2020 - Launch of Our TMS, Cabo
Based on company growth and a need for unmatched customer service, Priorty1 launched an innovative TMS in 2020. We created this proprietary software with logistic professionals at the forefront, adding optimizations and more efficient workflows to manage the day-to-day workings of your freight.
